What is your deadline?

Expedited apostille timelines by country

Government processing times cannot be overridden — but we use every tool available to minimize total time. Here are realistic expedited timelines for Spain applications:

🇺🇸 United States (FBI) Standard: Depends on official channels Expedited: No general rush option The FBI does not offer expedited processing; the federal State Dept. apostille follows its published timelines (mail currently within five weeks from receipt). Your actual timing is verified case by case.
🇲🇽 Mexico (SEGOB / state government) Standard: Depends on the competent federal or state authority and document; verify the published processing time for your exact procedure Expedited: No universal express lane Mexico's online apostille is already fast; the timeframe depends on the issuing authority. Check the official timeline for your specific case.
🇨🇴 Colombia (Cancillería) Standard: Per the timeframe of your specific Cancillería application Expedited: No universal expedited SLA The Cancillería is Colombia's sole apostille authority and operates an online system; quote the timeframe of each specific application — a guaranteed combined figure does not exist.
🇦🇷 Argentina (TAD) Standard: official average 30 business days after payment validation, subject to requirements and availability Expedited: No guaranteed shorter timeframe unless officially published Argentine apostille procedures run through TAD. There is no guaranteed priority lane beyond what the official channel publishes.
🇨🇱 Chile (Registro Civil online) Standard: Free official apostille where available; timing depends on office and channel Expedited: Same system — no separate rush lane For civil-status and criminal-record documents the apostille window is the Registro Civil. The online system is fast, but check the official timeline of the specific channel.
🇬🇧 UK (FCDO) Standard: £45 paper apostille — usually up to 25 working days plus delivery Expedited: Registered businesses only (pre-approval for Restricted Urgent) FCDO expedited routes are restricted to registered businesses; for consumers the turnaround follows the standard paper service plus courier time.

Important: These timelines begin when we receive your original documents. Shipping time to and from the apostille authority is included in our estimates but varies by your location. Contact us for a timeline based on your specific location and document.

How the process works

1

Send us a scan of your document and your deadline. Within hours — not days — we confirm whether your timeline is achievable, which expedited service level is required, and provide a firm quote. We're transparent: if the timeline isn't realistic, we tell you immediately.

2

For urgent cases, we submit the same day we receive payment and original documents. For FBI cases, there is no general FBI express option or guaranteed commercial priority for federal State Dept. apostilles — we check the official submission channel and current timing before accepting the order. For Latin American cases, we use the fastest available queue at each authority.

3

Originals are shipped to the apostille authority by express courier. Return documents come back by express international courier. We do not use regular post for urgent cases — every shipment is tracked and insured.

4

Translation is completed within 24 hours of receiving the apostilled document. We notify you immediately when your complete package ships and provide real-time courier tracking.

Frequently asked questions

What is the fastest possible apostille for Spain?

It depends on the country and channel. Spain (e-Apostille) can be same-day. Chile: the online Registro Civil system is fast — the official apostille is free where available, with timing depending on the office and channel. Colombia (Cancillería): consult the timeframe of your specific application in the current official channel. Mexico (SEGOB / state government): depends on the competent federal or state authority and the document; check the published processing time for your procedure. Argentina (TAD): the official average is 30 business days after payment validation, subject to requirements and availability, with no guaranteed shorter timeframe unless officially published. Peru (MRE): digital apostille up to 5 business days for eligible digital documents; in-person service varies by office. UK (FCDO): the standard paper apostille (£45) usually takes up to 25 working days plus delivery, and its expedited routes are restricted to registered businesses. The US FBI apostille is the longest in the chain: the FBI does not offer expedited processing and the federal State Dept. apostille follows its published timelines — mail processing is currently within five weeks from receipt — start this one as early as possible.

I have a Spain consulate appointment in 2 weeks. Is it possible to get my documents in time?

It depends on the country and documents. For Latin American apostilles, 2 weeks is usually achievable. For UK documents, the FCDO paper apostille usually takes up to 25 working days plus delivery and expedited routes are restricted to registered businesses, so UK timelines are harder to compress. For the FBI apostille, 2 weeks is very tight — contact us immediately and we'll assess your specific situation honestly. We will not take your money if we cannot deliver in time.

Do you offer same-day apostille?

Not for most countries — apostille processing times are set by government authorities, not by us. However, Chile's online system can sometimes process within 24 hours. The UK FCDO expedited routes (Next-Day £40, Restricted Urgent £100) are restricted to registered businesses — consumer cases follow the standard paper service. For the federal FBI apostille there is no guaranteed rush option: mail processing at the Dept. of State is currently within five weeks from receipt, and a seven-business-day in-person option applies only to the Department's specified circumstances.

What is the price difference for expedited apostille?

Expedited services cost more because of our priority handling, coordination costs, and express courier. Apostille authorities set their own processing times and generally do not offer general rush services; where a specific official expedited route exists for your document and country, we confirm it and include the official fee in your quote. For the federal FBI apostille there is no general State Dept. rush fee: the Department charges $20 per document and publishes its current processing times; courier and handling are separate.

Can you translate my documents urgently?

Yes. For urgent cases, we offer 24-hour rush translation service for English, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, and other major languages into Spanish. Rush translation is included or available as an add-on for all expedited packages.

What if my deadline is not achievable?

We tell you honestly upfront. If the timeline is not achievable, we explain why and suggest what you can do — such as contacting the consulate to request a later appointment, or whether a scan of the document in progress is sometimes accepted while the physical document is being processed. We do not take payment for services we cannot deliver on time.

I already have my apostilled document but I need an urgent translation for Spain. Can you help?

Yes. Certified Spanish translation of apostilled documents can be completed within 24–48 hours for most languages. Send us a scan of your document and we'll confirm the timeline and price immediately.
