Terms of Service

The terms that govern your use of this site and our services.

Last reviewed: June 2026

Acceptance of these terms

By using apostillaantecedentes.com or requesting a service from us, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or our services.

What we do

We assist individuals and businesses with document authentication and related services: apostille under the Hague Convention of 1961, consular legalization for non-Hague countries, and certified or sworn translation. We authenticate and certify existing official documents — we do not issue civil-status documents ourselves, and we are not a law firm.

Information is general guidance

The procedures, prices, and timeframes described on this site are general guidance, accurate to the best of our knowledge at the time of review. Your specific case may differ depending on the issuing authority, document type, and destination-country requirements. Nothing on this site is legal advice. See our editorial policy for how we prepare and review content.

Quotes, orders, and payment

  • A quote becomes an order once you confirm it and we accept your case.
  • Prices depend on document type, country, urgency, and whether translation or courier is included; government and consular fees may change without notice.
  • Timeframes are estimates and depend on third parties (issuing authorities, consulates, couriers) outside our control.

Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information and authentic documents.
  • Confirm the exact requirements of the institution that will receive your document, as final acceptance depends on that institution.
  • Respond to requests for information needed to advance your case.

Limitation of liability

We carry out each service with professional care, but we cannot guarantee that any specific authority or institution will accept a document, since acceptance rules are set by the receiving party. We are not liable for delays caused by government offices, consulates, or couriers, nor for outcomes resulting from inaccurate information or documents provided to us.

Intellectual property

The text, design, and graphics on this site are our property and may not be copied or reused without permission.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as our services or legal obligations change. The "last reviewed" date above reflects the current version.
